The GOD'S CHILD Project was founded in 1991 by Bismarck native, Patrick Atkinson, in response to letters from orphaned children kicked out onto the streets of Guatemala, pleading for his return.

Through loyal benefactor support, careful management, God's inspiration, and, yes, God's divine sense of humor, The GOD'S CHILD Project has grown to be an efficient and effective health-care provider and educational leader in the United States of America, Guatemala and El Salvador, Central America, and in Malawi, Africa. |
Our local and international volunteers give so much of themselves because they know they can best express their love and concern for the poor through a well-run charity. |
